Standing in front of Bunk 11 and looking out towards the back fields, we see nothing but piles of bunk debris. The pile to the left is the Main House and next to that we see the old dining room. This picture was captured by Paul Starke.

The man, the myth, the legend. . . Barry Knuppel. He was in charge of the waterski boat creating havoc on the high seas. That summer, I spotted on the boat after being in a cast for the entire summer. Andy Woodhead in the back of the boat. Oh yeah, got any zinc ??
Who could forget those annoying British counsellors who used to wake us up early in the morning on the fourth of July by singing, "God Save the Queen " !!!!

A view from the small baseball field, with all the bunks demolished, you can now see all the way down to the waterfront. This is a view that we are not used to seeing in the past.
Did you ever wonder what happened to the Dunmore Honor Board after camp closed. I think these guys will have some idea of the location of the board. . . .Nuff said.
Color War 1982. . ."The Peanut Butter Sandwich". . . where Color War is either won or lost. Here we have Steve Penner chomping away on that fat sandwich against Larry Schildkraut on his left. Here we have Ian Shulman relaxing on an inner tube. There are some interesting stories about this guy that went around camp, none of which I can tell you on this site, sorry.
Small reunion Here we see Paul Starke, Bruce Rutenburg, Scott "Tootsie" Schector, and me in New York City for a little reunion. As you can see from the photo, not many people showed up for our reunion. We hope to have more people at the next "Dunmore Round Table Meeting ". C'mon all you lame ass people !!!
Checkpoint Charlie . . . remember this dude from France ?? He was there at camp for a few summers with his older brother Rom. As Charlie arrived at camp, his English was limited to "Freeze - - Unfreeze - - Freeze !! and OD 4,5,6 ? " I think these are the only words I ever heard him say all throughout camp.
One from the archives . . . . Danny Stone just recently e-mailed a bunch of classic pictures from the past. One of them was a great color war picture of the famous tug-of-war on the back fields. Pete Speigel watches on with Danny Stone (whistle), Rich Dahlgren. The generals look like Carl Cadoff, Brian Stotland, and ?. I can also make out Alan Shuster on the tug-of-war and Paul Graif (with the fro on the right)
Dunmore Brochure circa 1950's . . . This is really an awesome piece of Dunmore history folks. Thank you Steve Mars for taking the time to scan all the pages of this classic brochure, I really appreciate it.
